NEW DELHI: ZF Hero Chassis Systems is currently negotiating with Honda and Suzuki to supply auto parts to India. ZF Hero Chassis has also taken the initiative to build up a new plant in India and will invest Rs 100 cr for this project.
ZF Hero Chassis is a collaboration between Hero Motors Germany-based ZF. Mr Pankaj Munjal, managing director, Hero Motors, said, “ At present our supplies are to only General Motors India from our plants in Talegaon and Halol. Now we are looking to expand. Currently we are in talks with talks with Suzuki and Honda to supply to them as well.”
Currently, it only supplies axle assembly to General Motors. The plant is expected to start operations by year-end.
