Xiaomi India teases ‘Mi Generation’ is arriving, new device coming on January 14?

Manu Kumar Jain, Head of Mi India earlier today tweeted a teaser with the caption Mi Generation T-24 hours to lift off and said “An exciting announcement will happen tomorrow. Always believe something wonderful is about to happen”. This doesn’t give us any hints about what the company is planning to announce, except that it could be a next-generation device. It has not scheduled any event for the launch.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note Prime smartphone in the country last month as the second Mi phone manufactured in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with Foxconn Technology Group, when everyone were expecting the Redmi Note 2 Prime.
It could be a new accessory, new smartphone, tablet or anything. Since Mi India Head have asked us to expect something wonderful and the company says that it will be a complete show stopper, hope it will be a new smartphone.
