After her former boyfriend leaked a sex tape of her on the internet, Tulisa Contostavlos thought the whole world would think badly of her.

Wednesday she was proved wrong when the X Factor judge was named the "world's sexiest woman" by UK magazine FHM.

In making the top of the list, the 23-year-old usurped Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Cheryl Cole.

Two-time winner Cole took second place, followed by pop star Rihanna and glamour model Rosie Jones.

'Confidence boost'

N-Dubz singer Contostavlos said the title was "a lovely confidence boost".

"I'm proud of me and I am who I am," she said. "I know that I'm Marmite and I wouldn't want to be anything less or anything more, I'm just myself.

"This is an award that will stay on the mantelpiece probably for the rest of my life."

Last week Contostavlos broke down in a TV interview as she spoke about the sex tape leak she thought would ruin her career. She told comedian Alan Carr: "I thought, The whole of the UK thinks I'm a sl**per." She also feared she would be sacked from X Factor. — Daily Mail
