Genesys International Corporation launched WoNoBo.com, a website to view 360-degree walkthroughs of India’s most visited monuments and streets, back in October last year. The company has finally released the WoNoBo app for Android as promised. The Android app lets you search for places, share the places you view easily, switch between 360-degree and maps views, browse heritage sites and more.

Features of WoNoBo for Android

Share places of importance with family and friends
Explore all Indian streets from the comfort of your armchair
Step inside the Taj Mahal, Elephanta Caves and other heritage sites
Walk through hotels and shopping malls with extensive interior views
It was launched in just 5 major Indian cities, now it covers 14 major Indian cities. It will soon be expanded to 54 cities and add businesses and marketers eventually, says WoNoBo. The application would be available for other mobile platforms by May 2014.

Commenting on the launch, Sajid Malik, CMD, Genesys International, said,

The WoNoBo App makes it possible for Indians to share aspects of their lives in a manner that simply hasn’t been possible before. We are India’s first and only 360 degree view service on the mobile platform. Users can share their schools, colleges, offices, favourite restaurants and just about anything else they love about India’s cities. Users can also access over 10 million ‘points of interests’ such as hotels, retail outlets, monuments, parks, etc. and view the interiors of key locations as well.

Amit Mehta, Head of Products and Marketing, WoNoBo.com, said,

There are a number of potential use cases for the WoNoBo App that we hope businesses and individuals will exploit to the fullest extent. We hope something as mundane as sending someone directions, for example, will be a whole lot easier from now on.
