Producer Boney Kapoor can’t yet heave a sigh of relief. After seeking Kareena Kapoor’s dates for the promotional shoot of his long delayed film Milenge Milenge, the producer has finally managed to winkle out a few hours of time from her chock-a-block dates diary.
But there may still be a slip between cup and lip.
As you must be aware, Milenge Milenge went on floors when it’s leading stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena were going strong in their romantic relationship. But the film got delayed for one reason or another; and the couple’s separation in the meantime only put the progress of the film in deeper freeze.
But now the project has been revived, it’s look pepped up and the leading man Shahid has already shot his portion of the promotional video. But Kareena has been postponing her shoot.
Finally, after pursuing her for months, Boney Kapoor has managed to get a commitment of few hours from Kareena on May 30 and 31. But he has his doubts whether Kareena would be able to make it to Mumbai for the crucial shoot as she’s presently shooting director Rohit Shetty’s film Golmaal 3 in Goa.
For Boney, May 30 is the deadline as the film is set to release in July. If Kareena can’t make it to the shoot, he’ll have to go ahead without her part of the publicity shoot.
“I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed,” Boney is quoted as saying.
