Recipe Wasabi sesame crusted paneer

WASABI SESAME CRUSTED PANEER
Paneer coated with Wasabi sauce and sesame seeds and shallow fried.

INGREDIENTS
Wasabi sauce 2 teaspoons

Sesame seeds (til) 1/4 cup

Cottage cheese (paneer) 200 grams

Refined flour (maida) 2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon

Ginger paste 1 teaspoon

Sugar 1 teaspoon

Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

Oil to shallow fry

METHOD
Mix together wasabi sauce, refined flour, salt, pepper powder, ginger paste, sugar, lemon juice and one tablespoon water and mix. Cut the paneer into thick fingers and add them to the wasabi mixture and mix so that they are well coated. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Place the sesame seeds in a plate. Roll the paneer fingers in the sesame seeds. Pierce toothpicks at one end of the paneer fingers and place them in the pan. Fry, turning the fingers frequently so that they are cooked all four sides to an even golden brown. Serve hot.
