Valentines day (February 14) is fast approaching. It is a day that originates out of the Christian faith, believing February 14 to be a day to express our true love towards lovers, often anonomously.
As we walk throughout the malls, shops are filled with red and pink and white themes, hearts, candies, chocolates, bears, cards, and roses. As we walk throughout the streets, we see couples holding hands, and the aura of love surrounds us everywhere we go. This can be especially disheartening to the individual with the "single" status. However, whoever said valentine's day was just for lovers, was wrong!
This valentines day, no matter what your status is, lets make it fun. We do not need valentines day to show our friends, our family, and our relatives, that we love them. The way we treat each other with such love on valentines day, should be an everyday thing!
So for all the single UNPians, this thread is for you!
In this thread, i want you to share your thoughts about what a soulmate is, what true love really means to you, and what you look for in a partner.
For fun, I would like for you to write about your very very first childhood crush and tell us about him/her! Did you like anyone in grade school? If so, what happened and did you ever tell that boy/girl that you liked them? You can write about a recent crush too lol.
And finally this thread is also designed to wish your fellow single UNPIANS a happy valentines day. You can post cards, flowers, gifts here for your friends on UNP and write messages for them.
