War for Oil, and control of other resources has brought two bigger religions up in arms against each other.

Same thing happens in India when BJP/VHP/RSS cadres goes out killing poor minorities in the name of false nationalism/Hindutva which never existed.

AS Usual.....

buliding any temple mosque gurdwara together is not a solution at all
it will atleast solve little bit of tense within the community...but if some does not want to see or think its not a right way then its their weak mentality thinking.

u just knoe wuts happening from last month...we knoe wuts happening from last few decdes /QUOTE]

urs history is weak ? az u already mention this in urs last reply...

and what gujrat riots..oh really do u know the real story also behind that..
how the real story hidden by pro congress media & hired NGO's and wrong things has been showned continously in news channel(like wat they did in 1984 riots) ..
muslim first attack a village of 500 people in gujrat after that godhra accident(burning of womens and children alive in train) So time was comed to teach like this thugs a nice lesson

The 1965 Sikh incidence in gujrat:
The 1965 riots were resulted out of the murder of two Sikh rickshaw drivers by some Muslims. The aggrieved Sikhs took out funeral procession of both these dead bodies. The situation got disturbed at Delhi Darwaja and got converted into a communal riot soon.

Bribed NGO Teesta...she is the one who looking and barks to much about gujrat riots....
AS Anand is, Chairman of NHRC. It is ’Muslim right Commission’. RK Anand, hero of J’khand issue and Congress leader, was accused in 84’s riot. Javed Anand, husband of Teesta is a fanatic so called modern mullah and has recently supported (in Outlook web edition), the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Foundation ...... All India Muslim Personal Law Board had decided to send a delegation to ... Indian Muslim Council-USA ...Godhra Train Tragedy: Refer attachment "Godra A To Z" compiled by Teesta ...www.imc-usa.org/cgi-bin/htdocs/reports/ffcl_report.htm
Now they all have eggs on their face, and the key witness has retraced her statements on that basis the case slated to be heard out of Gujarat.

On April 10, Police has registered a FIR against Teesta Setalvad and five others........
A local court had ordered police inquiry into Sheikh's allegations that she never signed any affidavit requesting the Supreme Court to order re-trial in the case. If Teesta filed affidavit herself in the name of Jahira without Jahira’s signature then people would see real face of secularists including secular media, Teesta and human activists like rainy frogs and NHRC. NHRC have big role to misguide SC and to open the gate for US to evoke Modi’s Visa.

NGOs, Teesta spiced up Gujarat riot incidents: SIT - India

NEW DELHI: The Special Investigation Team responsible for the arrests of those accused in Gujarat riots has severely censured NGOs and social activist Teesta Setalvad who campaigned for the riot victims.

In a significant development, the SIT led by former CBI director R K Raghavan told the Supreme Court on Monday that the celebrated rights activist cooked up macabre tales of wanton killings.

Many incidents of killings and violence were cooked up, false charges were levelled against then police chief P C Pandey and false witnesses were tutored to give evidence about imaginary incidents, the SIT said in a report submitted before a Bench comprising Justices Arijit Pasayat, P Sathasivam and Aftab Alam.

The SIT said it had been alleged in the Gulbarg Society case that Pandey, instead of taking measures to protect people facing the wrath of rioteers, was helping the mob. The truth was that he was helping with hospitalisation of riot victims and making arrangements for police bandobast, Gujarat counsel, senior advocate Mukul Rohtagi, said quoting from the SIT report.

Rohtagi also said that 22 witnesses, who had submitted identical affidavits before various courts relating to riot incidents, were questioned by the SIT which found that they had been tutored and handed over the affidavits by Setalvad and that they had not actually witnessed the riot incidents.

The SIT also found no truth in the following incidents widely publicised by the NGOs: All FAKE....
* A pregnant Muslim woman Kausar Banu was gangraped by a mob, who then gouged out the foetus with sharp weapons
* Dumping of dead bodies into a well by rioteers at Naroda Patiya
* Police botching up investigation into the killing of British nationals, who were on a visit to Gujarat and unfortunately got caught in the riots

Rohtagi said: "On a reading of the report, it is clear that horrendous allegations made by the NGOs were false. Stereotyped affidavits were supplied by a social activist and the allegations made in them were found untrue."

Obviously happy with the fresh findings of the SIT which was responsible for the recent arrests of former Gujarat minister Maya Kodanani and VHP leader Jaideep Patel, Rohtagi tried to spruce up the image of the Modi administration, which was castigated in the Best Bakery case by the apex court as "modern day Neros". He was swiftly told by the Bench that but for the SIT, many more accused, who are freshly added, would not have been brought to book.

The Bench said there was no room for allegations and counter-allegations at this late stage. "In riot cases, the more the delay, there is likelihood of falsity creeping in. So, there should be a designated court to fast track the trials. Riot cases should be given priority because feelings run high having a cascading effect," it said and asked for suggestions from the Gujarat government, Centre, NGOs and amicus curiae Harish Salve, who said the time had come for the apex court to lift the stay on trials into several post-Godhra riot cases.

While additional solicitor general Gopal Subramaniam agreed with the court that public prosecutors should be selected in consultation with Raghavan, counsel Indira Jaising said there should be a complete regime for protection of witnesses as the same government, which was accused of engineering the riots, was in power now.

Salve said that he would consult Raghavan and let the court know about a witness protection system for post-Godhra riot cases. The court asked the parties to submit their suggestions within a week.

Teesta tutored me: Nafitullah
Nafitullah Sheikh brother of Jahira said, "I don't know why Teesta’s organisation was spending money, and providing rations etc for us every month. Ms. Setalvad and Rais Khan used to say that he would have to give ‘false evidence’ at the Mumbai court,"
“The US state department has set aside several lakhs of dollars to fund litigation aimed at bringing legal redress to Muslims in Gujarat. Teesta sold Gujarat riot to US.” Jahira said. Ms Poornima Advani confirmed when she was the President of National Commission for Women (NCW), to the press that “Zaheera was under no pressure and was doing her own things”.

Modi's new admirer: Ahmedabad's Imam

AHMEDABAD: Mufti Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui, the Imam of Ahmedabad's biggest mosque, has found himself alone among the city's Muslim clerics. What

has landed the 52-year-old Imam in trouble in his own community is his admiration for Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi.

Siddiqui, a native of Sirsa in Bihar, has been living in Ahmedabad since 1982. The hardliners in the community feel he is soft on the state government with which he has been building bridges in turbulent times.

But Siddiqui is unabashed about his admiration for the CM and would like Modi, already popular among Shia muslims, to gain acceptance among the Sunnis too. The Jama Masjid Imam calls the 2002 riots an "atrocity'' but adds that the projection of the riots was "much graver'' than what had actually happened. "The time has come now to move on. It is seven years since the riots and people have already started forgetting what had happened,'' he told TOI.

The Imam says Modi has ensured peace after 2002 and feels the chief minister has "lived up to the expectations''. "Muslims too have an opportunity to prosper in the peaceful environment that the Modi government has created. Modi has provided an atmosphere which is conducive for those who want to do business in Gujarat,'' he says.

According to Siddiqui, Modi does not need Muslim votes to win the elections. It is up to the Muslims to make friends with the chief minister, he says. "Islam has in the past befriended even bigger fundamentalists,'' he argues, adding Muslims must appreciate the performance of the CM, "if he is good''.

He is also happy that the spread of the hardliner Tablighis in Gujarat, who have created numerous problems for him in recent years, has been checked by the Modi government by blocking the influx of foreign funds through `hawala'. He says his battle with the Tabhlighis for the control of mosques across Gujarat would be won only if the flow of funds from abroad is stopped.

Little light on Gujarat and Guj CM Mr Narender Modi
Narendra Modi took charge of Gujarat when its economy was shrinking and the domestic growth was stagnant.Faced with massive economic losses, he reorganized the government's administrative structure and embarked upon a massive cost-cutting exercise. As a result of Gujarat government efforts under guidance of modi, Gujarat registered a GDP growth rate of over 10% during his first tenure. This was the highest growth rate among all the Indian states. Continuing this extraordinary run, over the last year GDP growth rate was registered at 11.5%.

I past Muslims issue demands to St. Paul airport in Minneapolis:
Somali immigrants passing through Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport want a private place to say Muslim prayers. The airport suggests they share a room with people of other religions....airport suggested they can pray it in same room where others relgion people do it..but they said its not possible for us to pray in that shared rooms as it will creat problems..awww

Muslims can: by ending this kind of politically motivated stunt.
Airport Director Steve Wareham said if the airport provides a special area for Muslims to use, it potentially would have to accommodate other faiths the same way.
"Our request would be you try the quiet seating area," he told the Somali immigrants.

Muslims Demand Prayer Space In New Jersey School for 10-year old boy:
What happens when a Palestinian woman demands “acceptable” prayer space in a north Jersey school? How quickly will the New Jersey school board jump to accommodate her Islamic prayer requests in school? And what happens if she doesn’t find the forthcoming accommodations acceptable like she has done previously? The ACLU will fight like hell to keep any reference to God, or Christians from praying, in public schools. No doubt they would simultaneously fight for kids to pray to Allah in public school.

WAYNE — Rola Awwad wants a private space for her 10-year-old son at Albert Payson Terhune Elementary School to exercise his right to Muslim prayer.
The school district had offered to let him pray at recess — either outside or in a classroom while classmates are there. And that, says Awwad, is “unacceptable.”
All students are constitutionally guaranteed the right to pray during the school day as long as it doesn’t interfere with learning. But Wayne is struggling with what accommodations to make if a Muslim student requests privacy for prayer and so on................

Meanwhile, the no-liquor-in-taxicabs issue that got nationwide attention a few months ago is undead:

Many of the airport's Somali taxi drivers refuse to accept passengers who are carrying liquor, because their faith forbids it. The airport says it is a customer-service issue and has forced drivers who refuse fares to move to the back of the line, which can mean a wait as long as three hours for another fare.
Wareham said he would recommend to the airport's management operations committee that it hold a public hearing on the matter. He favors stiffening the penalties against cab drivers who refuse fares for any reason other than their own safety.

"To be refused service by a taxi driver is, frankly, seen as an insult, and we don't want our customers to experience it," Wareham said.
Somalis assembled at Tuesday's meeting at the Darul Quba Mosque in Minneapolis also wanted to know whether the airport would provide announcements and signs in Somali.

Probably not, officials said.
"The challenge is not inundating the air with messages people might start to ignore," said Arlie Johnson, an assistant airport director.
At least the issue of the prayer room was met with some accommodation, said Abdirahman Hirsi, imam of the Darul Quba Mosque.
"It's a kind of progress," he said. "And we hope the future will be better."
