The Sikh United Front today said it was planning to move court against Karnataka Education Minister for his reported remarks that “those who oppose the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita in schools should quit the country”.
Addressing a press conference here, chief of the front Sudershan Singh Wazir said they were planning to launch criminal proceedings against Karnataka Education Minister Vishwanath Hegde Kageri for his communal remarks.
“Kageri's statement brought out the true communal and fascist agenda of the BJP to the fore,” he said.
He said the Sikhs would not tolerate any hatred campaign.
