Durgiana Mandir, Amritsar (Lakshmi Narain Temple)
Built in the third decade of the 20th Century it echoes, not the traditional Hindu temple architecture, but that of the Golden temple and, in a similar manner rises from the midst of a tank and has canopies and the central dome in the style of the Sikh temple.

Bhagwati Mandir, Maisar Khanna, Bathinda City
Its history goes back to the 17th Century AD. The locality of the city in which this temple is located formed a part of a village, then called Khanna.

Shiv Mandir, Gur-mandi, Jalandhar
The Mandir dates back of the Lodhi Era. It is said that the Nawab of Sultanpur Lodhi, in whose territory the city of Jalandhar then fell hadeyed a newly married Hindu girl whom he had wanted to make an object of his lust.

Panch Mandir, Kapurthala Town
It was got built by the founder of the Kapurthala State, Fateh Singh Ahluwalia. The prime dome in the centre is surrounded by several smaller temples dedicated to different deities.



Kali Devi Temple, Patiala
Situated opposite Baradari garden on the Mall Road of Patiala. This Temple was built by the rulers of the Patiala State. Because of its beautiful wall paintings and icons the temple has been declared a national monument.

Rauza Sharif, Sirhind, Patiala
Rauza Sharif, Sirhind is a mausoleum which marks the burial place of Mujadid-alf-Saani Seikh Ahmed Farooqi. He was a Sirhindi who lived from 1563 to 1634, during the reigns of Akbar and Jahangir.

The Moorish Mosque, Kapurthala City
One of the most awe inspiring structure of the ancient times, "The Moorish Mosque, Kapurthala City" in Punjab was erected by the royal King of the region "Jagatjit Singh" in 1930.

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]Devi Talab Mandir is located about one km from the railway station. It is situated in the heart of Jalandhar City. The old Devi Talab has been renovated and in its centre, a new temple has been built. Recently a model of Amarnath Yatra has been built in the premises. An old temple of goddess Kali also stands by the side of the Devi Talab. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and the Kali is known as Tripurmalini. Sati's right breast fell here. Lord Shiva of this temple is called Bhishan Bhairav.[/FONT]

Famous classical music exponents - both instrumental and vocal come together and perform at this gathering. In Devi Talab, there is a large masonry 200 year old tank sacred to Hindus.[/FONT]

Pandav Sarovar Mandir, Dasuya (Dasuya city, ਦਸੂਹਾ)


Pandav Sarovar Mandir is a Hindu Temple located near Hazipur Chownk , Dasuya. It is believed that Pandava spent some time during "Agyatvas" in this place . The sarovar is believed to be dug by Powerful Pandav, "Bhim".
