Has your corporate IT policy locked you into XP, preventing you from using Windows 7? Or perhaps given the state of the economy and the job market you just can't afford to shell out cash for a new system using Microsoft's latest and greatest OS? Well, PCMag.com is here to the rescue.

Taskbar Cover Flow features:
A thumbnail preview that appears like the cover flow in an ipod. Move your mouse wheel and the cover flow thumbnails will move left or right
Aero peek which hides all of the program windows except for the one you are hovering over in the taskbar
CTRL+Tab to display a cover flow replacement of Windows Alt-Tab (sometimes referred to as Flip 3D on Windows 7)
Context menus on the taskbar buttons. Right clicking on an icon in the taskbar displays a context menu similar to Windows 7
The ability to pin programs and recent documents to taskbar buttons
The ability to drag and drop programs to new positions in the taskbar. The dragged position ordering is restored when Windows is restarted
And exclusively for XP:
The XP Start button can be replaced with the Windows 7 orb
A "Show Desktop" button to the far right of the taskbar (next to the system time in the system notification area)
