Super Talent announce USB 3.0 encrypted SuperCrypt flash dri

Super Talent, the California based memory manufacturer and distributor, has announced a new, encrypted USB 3.0 flash drive.
The SuperCrypt drive supports AES hardware encryption with two options, and is supported by the STT encryption utility for passwords. Option one comes in the form of 128-bit ECB encryption on standard SuperCrypt drives. Option two is 256-bit XTS encryption on SuperCrypt Pro drives.
There are nine SuperCrypt drives to choose from, split as follows:

• 32GB USB 3.0 SuperCrypt
• 64GB USB 3.0 SuperCrypt
• 128GB USB 3.0 SuperCrypt
• 256GB USB 3.0 SuperCrypt

SuperCrypt Pro

• 32GB USB 3.0 SuperCrypt Pro
• 64GB USB 3.0 SuperCrypt Pro
• 128GB USB 3.0 SuperCrypt Pro
• 256GB USB 3.0 SuperCrypt Pro

Super Talent claims transfer speeds of up to 240MB/s, which equates to a 600MB file transferring in just 7 seconds. The drive itself measure 95 x 34 x 15.4 mm. Pricing has yet to be announced, but the drives should be available before the end of March.
