500 g strawberries, washed and hulled
150 g sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp vodka
1/2 lemon, peeled and chopped
Combine strawberries, sugar, salt and lemon juice in a bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Transfer strawberries into a blender. Add vodka and chopped lemon.
Process till smooth. Strain off seeds if desired
Pour mixture into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
Transfer to airtight container and freeze until ready to serve.
