Sony XBA-NC85D Balanced Armature Headphones

Sony launches the new Sony XBA-NC85D Balanced Armature Noise Cancelling Earphone.

The Sony XBA-NC85D is claimed as the world’s smallest and lightest noise cancelling headphones and equipped with ‘Made in Japan’ Balanced Armature Driver with unique sealed casing that features a spring force and magnetic pulling force, which are balanced on the armature.

These headphones feature a box-free design, a frequency response of 5-20,000Hz, a 106dB (150mV) of sensitivity and a gold-plated L-shaped stereo mini plug.

Sony’s Balanced Armature Drivers also creates more room to fit both the battery and IC chips within the headphones, resulting in the ground-breaking box-free design.

This Sony earphone includes digital noise-cancelling software engine that prevents sound from coming in, without compromising sound quality.

Its Ni-MH (40mAh) battery pack provides enough juice for up to 20-hour on a single charge.

Sony will launch the XBA-NC85D noise cancelling headphones in Japan in November 2011 and in the US market later this year.
