Although I have read all rules & regulations if any of them broke down please apologise to me while posting. I just want to ask do we really need to offer money in the golak when we visit gurdwara? Can't we metha tek front of sri guru granth sahib ji & sit down with sangat?

Some also offers milk, veg & fruits too, is this really important or needed? Literally I just do as normal but also seen sangat go behind sri guru granth sahib ji & makes the one round along side.

Might be answers are available online or other sources but don't want to waste time so asked here.

i think there is no maryada that you have to put money in golak..
mainu lagda it is sign of respect and love.we always offfer something to our loved ones ,i think in same way some people offer money and other stuff to guru ji to show devotion
and other thing wen u put money in the golak, they use that money for payin the bills and stuff for the gurdwara..and one person cannot pay for everything so its good if everyone gives a little bit to help.Gurudwara commite use it for langer and for other expenses .if you think gurudwara is not using money for right purpose don t give any money .other stuff like veg ,atta etc that is for Langar
on other hand it is habit or mentality of our people that if they were put 100 dollar in golak all their problems would be solved.it is all stupidity of some people .

GOLAK : Guru te sikh vichkaar j koi cheej aundi aa te o golak aa lol ......golak wala trend mahanta ne shuru keeta c .... guru's themselves never had anything like this ...thou donations were taken but in different way .... ajj di sikhi de najuk hallaatan di jimewaar kaafi hadh tak golak hi hae ...
OFFER .... sikh does not offer anything to gurdwara ...he SHARE his part ...make that difference clear .... sikh does not offer anything and seek reward.....he just share part of everything he has ...
2.) ROUND:
seems to be like this trend has been started from darbar sahib amritsar .... so every other gurdwara followed this trend ....there is nothing religious in it .... some stupids would say doing parkarma would give you mukti .... but there is nothing like that .... its nothing more than a trend

RABB aap aa k tan maya dinda nhi es sab lyi... je maaya paoni saari janta band kar dwe, tan ikk time te gurudwara wi band ho jao, jo ki theek nhi,, bhaawein lakh kamiya hon, atleast othe rabb daa naam tan japya janda hai.
