What's it all about?
The film is based on a Ruskin Bond short story Susanna's Seven Husbands.
Vishal Bharadwaj's black comedy takes us through the beautiful Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes' whirlwind romance as she finds her ‘true' love. In 35 years she's married not once, but seven times. And each time her marriage takes place after the untimely death of her (then) husband. With half a dozen of her hapless husbands dead under mysterious circumstances, she's the prime accused in each case. Whether she actually indulged in the gruesome act is what Bharadwaj tries to tell us.
