It's just utterly pathetic and sad ki jis country nu asin azaad karwaun lai ehna kuch kita ajj ohi lok are restricting our freedom to practice our religion.

And Sarna is a sell out. One more reason why all the Gurduwara's should come under Punjab's rule.

even I am a sikh boy and I am amritdhari sikh and not once I face issue many time and it was raised in my office as well but they dont understand like this and we have to raise our voice so that they can understand...............

I just saw the news on tv and thought i'd share maybe the sports minister is not amritdhari and doesn't wear a kirpan??

Does he?


He did say he will take care of it since some people might not know who sikhs are but its still utterly pathetic that we have to do this in OUR own country and the volunteer was refused entry in the first place.

Many carry along a pendant Kirpan instead.

cwg venue is a high profile, high security area, So why so much fuss if he was denied ?

So if the chief minister of Punjab tells you that you should be strip searched before entering our state's so called high profile areas.....as the chance that someone may hide stuff in their body cavity is real. WOULD YOU KNEEEL to that request Mr dhillon????

Mr. Dhillon, who said Amritdhari Sikhs have no issues in removing kirpans. Are you the self-appointed representative of them???

They have issues, that's why they have fought legal cases for kirpan in many foreign lands. Again those were foreign lands, people are unaware of our religious beliefs and culture.
But if an Amritdhari Sikh has to remove his kirpan in India, Where the hell will an amritdhari sikh go??
We need a homeland where we can practice our religious beliefs freely, if India cannot be that homeland, then the yesteryears need to seek Sikh homeland is still justified.
