Recipe Shrimp Masala


Prime VIP

Shrimp 1 lb
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Chopped Onions 2 med size
Chopped Tomato 1
Chopped Ginger 1/2 inch
Chopped Garlic 2 cloves
Chopped Green chilies 2
Grated Fresh coconut 1/2 cup
Kokam 3-4 pieces
Clean the shrimp and apply salt, a pinch of turmeric and chili powder.
Take 4 tbsp oil in a pan. When hot, add the onions, ginger, garlic and green chilies - saute the mix.
Add tomatoes and saute well.
Add the shrimp and fry till the shrimp is cooked.
Grind coconut with a little water and add to shrimp. Cook with lid closed.
When curry is well- cooked, add kokam and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with plain rice or chapatis.
