Shabad Guru | Digital vs. Paper & Ink | Matha Tek

Since we bow our heads (matha tek) to the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and cover our heads to show our respect to the divine words (Shabad) and the living guru, if you download the SGGS on your laptop or phone, would you cover your head and matha tek the laptop/phone? We do not respect the paper, ink or digitalized print as Guru, but the divine shabad itself. Moreover, would you chaur it with a Chaur Sahib, wrap it in cloth and take good care of the laptop to pay respect to the divine words of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji on the laptop?

Yea thanks to e granth. I started from e granth ,,,no need to do anything no bathing no nuthing.

the easy access of egranth cannot be challenged at all.....sooner or later im pretty sure akal thatkh would ban egranths.......coz you cannot bow or put golak in front of cell phone....if I have some doubt .... I wld open egrantg...doesnt matter whr im sitting... yes that includes washroom ...

Egranth should be accorded same respect as real granth. Every one should take care of maryada. Our dialog with guru should occur in a neat clean environment. Cellphone having egranth should be handled with clean hands at least using egranth. Wallpapers should always be decent. Cellphone should be in covers all time when not in use. Ease of access should not confused with abuse/disrespect of gurbani.

Veer Respect os vale deni hai jis vele Egranth pad rehe hove. Egranth padab vele hath juthe ni hone chahide. Saf suthri jagah hove. Sir te thakhia hove. Jive apan granth sahib ji nu padan vele karde haan.
