‘Wanted’ sequel put on hold

The prospect of making the sequel to the last year’s superhit Wanted is pretty lucrative, but producer Boney Kapoor is not biting the bait yet. Reason? He is wary of a Salman Khan overkill at the box office.

As it turns out Salman is already set to work in two films by Boney Kapoor - Be Positive and Mr. India 2.

Now, Be Positive is a sequel to No Entry and will have Salman doing comedy with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan again. On the other hand, Salman will turn a villain (Mogambo) in Mr. India sequel. He will also do a lot of stunts in the film.

On top of it all, Boney is not unaware that Salman has a lot of action and stunts in brother Arbaaz Khan’s production Dabangg as well.

So, the astute Boney Kapoor has put on hold his plan to make the Wanted sequel.
