Salman Khan all praise for Varun Dhawan

Actor Salman Khan is all praise for newbie actor Varun Dhawan for trying out a “different” performance in upcoming film Badlapur.

Dhawan, 27, who has earlier done comic and romantic roles, will be seen as a rowdy character in the revenge drama.

“Wah yaar! Kamaal karte ho mr varun! [Wow! Amazing job Mr Varun] Badlapur! Already trying different stuff. Film is looking good. Baap ka record tod do jaldi. [Quickly break your dad’s record] Happy for you,” Khan, 48, tweeted.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film’s teaser was released online and has since been getting a positive response.

Khan thanked the Kick star and mentioned he will be visiting the set of reality show Bigg Boss 8, which Khan hosts, to promote the film.

“Thank u @BeingSalmanKhan bhai see you tomorrow at big boss #weekendkavaarwithsalman,” Dhawan posted.

Also starring Divya Dutta, Yami Gautam, Radhika Apte, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vinay Pathak, Badlapur is slated to release next year.
