Research In Motion (RIM) refresh its Bold series with the new 9900 and 9930 models.

The new 9900 series is the thinnest BlackBerry smartphone yet measuing just just 10.5mm thick and run BlackBerry OS 7.



They are powered by Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz processor with 768MB RAM, 8GB internal memory and comes with QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen and is equipped with support for NFC (Near Field Communications).

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 series is crafted with premium materials including a brushed stainless steel frame that puts the finishing touch on a truly outstanding smartphone.

Sprint is going to launch the Bold 9930 this Fall and AT&T is planning to release the Bold 9900 with 4G branding.
