Makes a very strong comeback, last two albums were lacklustre. Composed by Jaidev kumar. Tribute to raju daddahoor, who's not anymore. RIP.
Panga Na layin - Too much noise on this track at many parts, gunshots, flange effects combined with reverbs. But that algozey can be heard distinctly. Rap by AG Dolla and i don't seem to know why he's there, when a rapper is given a deal, he's given music only without vox, he's given a beat so that he can blend in his bars into them and also making sure tune is not leaked out. In this track his rap is not making sense. Punjabi MC is the guy who makes rapping in songs not so much pain, hear sassi's rap. But yeah good track gets your feet moving but not in bhangra type of way. Grewal kehna chaaunda punjabi pangebaaj aa, door hi rehyo emein jhagga saaf hoju.
Jatt Kalla - Ehe aashiqaan di haunslaa afzayi laayi, jadon apni mashooq nu mp3 bhejna pai jaanda kai aari. Good track, standard production, vocals jaada ubhardde aa ehe track ch, and considering grewal di kandhhi ch damm haiga, sunnan ch v changa lagda ehe track.
Din - grewal dons his preaching dress in this one, again standard production which we hear in punjabi songs, but a nice song. Vocals are paced at good speed. Good track.
Hathiyaar - Mangal hathur is awesome. Thank god the dhol beat in this one has changed, beat dropping is perfectly timed. Again a good track. Lyrics make it perfect.
Dudhh da glass - mangal hathur jeounda reh sheraa. Highlight of album for me. The starting of this song had me hooked. Lyrics are pretty tight. Good job on music too.
tera fikar - Sohna gaaana aa. apni mashooq da fikar karna chaahida. Baaahla sad jeha v ni aa.
Ohi Sohni - Again a nice song. Good melody on vocals, music is tight aand top notch in this one. Starting told me, it's gonna be a blue song.
Gulabi Suit - Not that great song except that opening paragraph. Music is mellow to suit the lyrics, i won't skip this track but yes so-so track.
This is one album i will spend rs.130 on. Very good album from grewal, nice music by jaidev kumar, but he's loosing his touch, tracks could have been much more packed musically, but it still does good. Grewal should have opted for different producers, the lyric choice saved him. he must have done hard work giving the themes to lyricists and then choosing them. Yes this is a album i will rinse alongside preet harpal's lock up.
