Rakht Charitra - 2 the much anticipated sequel to Rakta Charitra releases today. South film star Suriya makes his Bollywood in this controversial film directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
Rakta Charitra starring Vivek Oberoi had performed well in Andhra Pradesh but could only manage a below average response in other parts of the country. The movie is inspired by the story of the slain political leader Paritala Ravi of Andhra Pradesh.
The music of Rakta Charitra 2 is average and the film is less violent that the first part. However, Tamil hero Suriya is believed to have performed exceptionally well in the movie.
Overall the film is expected to outperform Rakta Charitra.
