Rajnikant is hospitalized again..
Chennai, May 5 (TruthDive): Tamil superstar Rajnikant, was hospitalized for the second time within a week for allergic bronchitis. He was running a high fever. The doctors say that he is recuperating well and has been advised to rest for a couple of days. The fever has been brought under control.
The doctors have advised him rest and he would be under observation for two days at the Isabelle Hospital, where he was admitted after he complained of breathlessness.
Doctors, who have prohibited visitors meeting the 60-year-old actor said, he was “doing well” and required rest.
On the first day of Raana shoot he was admitted due to exhaustion. He was discharged on the same day and was told to rest for a week.
Meanwhile, concerned fans held special prayers wishing him good health, as this is the first time the iconic star has taken ill twice within a short period.
Deepika Padukone is the leading lady in the period film. Tabu and Illena are the other actresses. Sonu Sood plays the baddie. The film is directed by K S Ravikumar, who has given two hits with the Superstar. It is produced by Eros international and Soundarya Rajnikant’s Ocher studios.
The project was helmed after Ocher Studio’s Sultan the warrior, an animation film, featuring Rajnikant, ran into deep financial troubles,plunging the star’s wife and daughter Soundarya in deep financial trouble and litigation. Soundarya however claims that Sultan is a different film from Raana, but the buzz is that the animated portions shot for Sultan has been incorporated in this film.
