•Ladyfingers (bhindi),trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces 400 grams
•Oil 3 tablespoons
•Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
•Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
•Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
•Salt to taste
•Lemon juice 2 teaspoons
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add ladyfingers, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix well. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, till the ladyfingers are completely cooked.
Take the pan off the heat and sprinkle lemon juice. Mix well. Serve hot with chapattis or phulkas.
