A new Punjabi movie titled 'Punj Khaab' has just commenced it's shoot and this one stars debutante actor Ricky Khattra and our chirpy Punjaban Monica Gill in lead roles.
A female oriented subject, Punj Khaab, stars the above mentioned along with Gurpreet Ghuggi, Nirmal Rishi, BN Sharma and Hobby Dhaliwal. This film is being directed by Gurcharan Singh and is produced by Babbu Kocher, B. S Mann, Pankaj Batra and Gurcharan Singh, under the banner of Prabh Films. Music is by Laddi Gill and lyrics by Happy Raikoti.
Talking about the debut actor Ricky Khattra, he is an Indo-Canadian model turned actor who basically hails from Toronto. In 2012, Ricky completed his acting course at Anupam Kher Actor Prepares. A stage performer and a business infotech graduate from Ryerson University, Ricky has participated in leading productions of Bollywood including MTV's India's Next Top Model Season 2, 24 Series Season 2, and more.
On the other hand, Monica Gill has just finished shooting for Sat Sri Akal England and is now busy with Punj Khaab, the shoot of which is currently happening in Punjab. She will soon make her Bollywood debut with Kapil Sharma's Firangi, due for release on 10th November 2017.
