Prime minister congratulates indian cricket team

New Delhi April 3:

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh congratulated the Indian cricket team for winning the World Cup and said they had shown the world that India is at the top of the game of cricket.

In a congratulatory message, he said the hard work and effort put in by M S Dhoni and his men had been rewarded. The Prime Minister said the Indian team had made India proud. The players had demonstrated great team spirit, all the concentration and skill needed to win this well deserved World Cup, he said.

"I join the nation in congratulating the Indian cricket team on their victory...they have shown the world that India is at the top of the game of cricket...the Indian team makes India proud," the Prime Minister said.
