Porsche India has just announced the opening of its latest showroom, located at Gurgaon, Haryana. This will be the company’s eighth retail outlet in the country. Located at Gurgaon’s Golf Course Road, the company says the new facility is built to the same exacting global retail architectural standards as any international Porsche dealership.

“This world-class showroom is a tangible example of the commitment that Porsche has for the Indian market,” said Anil Reddi, director of Porsche India. “Our customers in this part of our country can now look forward to a highly customer-centric approach focussing on a unique Porsche ownership experience.”

The Porsche Gurgaon showroom spans 10,900 square feet spread across two storeys, and this allows enough space for 15 cars to be on display simultaneously. It also includes a bistro, a Porsche merchandise store, and even an open terrace for private functions. And, of course, since Porsches are known to come with extensive options lists from which customers can personalise their cars, there’s a special ‘fitting lounge’ that has all these extras on display.

Porsche’s former authorised importer for India, Shreyans Motors, received a lot of complaints from customers with regards to after-sales service. Porsche has since severed that alliance and entered the market on its own as part of Volkswagen Group Sales India. The company is now working to put its customers at ease about after-sales, and this new showroom will only boost its efforts to offer a wider and better service network to Indian Porsche owners.
