India will judge Pakistan’s seriousness on forging a “new relationship” for the actions it takes against the handlers of the Mumbai attacks and other issues like stopping cross-border infiltration into Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources said Pakistan had promised that India would not be “disappointed”. They added India was looking for action before Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna visits Pakistan on July 15.
Another Indian official has hinted that “credible and visible” announcements were expected during that visit.
Both countries just recently had three days of hectic discussions between their foreign secretaries and Home Ministers.
