Expect the unexpected!

If there is Aamir Khan in a film, things ought to be perfect. Now taking a leaf out from her husband’s book is his wife Kiran Rao. The lady is turning director with the film Dhobi Ghaat, and has reportedly got double Oscar winner musician Gustavo Santaolalla to compose songs for the movie.

According to reports, the musician is in India since last few days and Kiran is busy playing a perfect host to him. In fact, when she narrated the story to Gustavo, she also requested him to visit Mumbai, as the city too has a character to play in the film. And as a source tells the tabloid, she was on cloud nine when Gustavo finally agreed to do her film.

The shooting of Dhobi Ghat is learnt to be almost complete and it is expected to hit the theatres later this year. Aamir plays the lead; he has the role of a painter who lives and works in a noisy, congested Mumbai neighbourhood. The movie also has Prateik Babbar in a crucial role.

For people, who don’t know Gustavo, he has won Oscar for his musical score in films Brokeback Mountain and Babel. The 57-year-old music composer is from Argentina and has also given music to the movies Motorcycle Diaries and Amores Perros.
