Optus My Tab 7″ Android Tablet REVIEW





Australia carrier Optus is launching the My Tab, a 7-inch tablet device running Android 2.1 OS. Made by ZTE, the My Tab sports a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM. It has a 7-inch 480×800 resistive touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel with video recording, GPS receiver and a microSD/SDHC card slot.

The My Tab supports not only WiFi 802.11 wireless but also quad-band GSM and UMTS/HSPA 2100 3G networks, also quuipped with a front-facing camera for video calling.

Optus should sell the My Tab on pre-pay for $280. It’s worth mentioning that the new tablet will receive an update to Android 2.2 Froyo after launch.
