One killed, five injured in blast at Delhi's Chandni Chowk

One person was killed and five others injured in an explosion at Naya Bazar near Chandni Chowk in Delhi on Tuesday morning.
Initial investigations suggest that the blast could be due to a cracker burst. A lot of explosive materials, used in crackers, were found at the site of explosion, officers told TOI.

Police have not ruled out the possibility of terror angle.
The police and fire departments were alerted about the blast around 10.45am.

Several police teams led by DCP Madhur Verma apart from fire officials and 3 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

Delhi's anti-terror wing, Special Cell, have also reached the spot.
Crime and forensic teams have taken samples and the area has been cordoned off.
