Na parawa hale tak te koi school nai we, wase school wich asi sare punjabi hi bolde a mager study waste only Urdu, ik masla we ke apa punjabi likhda wa mager Urdu de alpabet nal, as waste punjabi paran da maza nai anda. te koi punjabi ni istemal nai karda.

thts really sad......i wish if u cud hv chance to write and learn punjabi in punjabi.....te main parawa nahi aan..kyunke main taan kudi aan....bhen keh sakde ho bhara nahi

mere khyaal ton k o i language kharaab ni hai...its just a way to communicate....agar kisi ch kami hai taan oh haan asi..not any language...i call myself a human, a girl, an asian, an indian, and then punjabi...my muslim friends who r frm pakistan speak urdu...and i dun think os ch koi kharaabi hai....all languages are equal...je tuhadi language nu kahega ki i dun like it or whtever....how r u gonna feel...ethey kaafi lok hone jo hindi urdu bolde ne...including me...socho ohna nu kinna feel hoyega jad ohna di language nu eme bolu koi

only reason why I dont like Urdu or Hindi
is because there are cases where Punjabis dont speak Punjabi and they speak Urdu or Hindi only
both languages have a forced influnce on Punjab by the government.
Like I dont hate the languages, just it pisses me off to see Punjabis speaking Urdu or Hindi over Punjabi.

hanji sahiwal jatt saab tuhadi gall di misunderstanding ho gayi lagda thalle, folks thats not what he meant to say. All he was saying was that people prefer to speak hindi or urdu over punjabi to look more educated or sophisticated. HUn apne shehra ch haal dekh lao punjab ch, maa boli saadi punjabi hai, par maava mada maan samjhdiya jadd bacheya naal hindi ch gall karan giya jaan jaan ke taaki society soche ki eh lok jaada padhe likhe hann. Schools ch vi ehi hala hai, shehra de bache punjabi bol ke raaji nahi. Its not that we dont like other languages, we should have all the respect towards other languages and their speakers, but the point is a lot of so-called punjabis dont speak punjabi coz they think it will make then look pendu, so just for show-off they start speaking hindi. Thats wat it is. If you grew up with a language, and thats wat ur forefathers have spoken for centuries, be proud of it and speak it with respect be it hindi, punjabi, urdu, arabic, english or any other language of the world. I have a lot of pakistani freinds too and they tell me that in pakistan people from urdu speaking areas think they r all that and they look down on punjabi speaking ones. angelo jo tusi keha bilkul sahi hai......buh sometimes school plays a significant role in wah children speak.....meri niece nu asi nikki hundi to hi punjabi sikhayi...te jido koi baharla milda c onu te ohde muh to punjabi sun k baut hairaan hunda c.....den she started goin to kinder....othe bacheya naal hindi bolna sikh gayee te fer ghar aake vee hindi hi bolan lag payi......badi mushkil naal ohdi eh aadat hatayi aa......buh it sometimes gets so diff....coz tusi kade kade anjaane ch aap vee bache naal hindi ch bolan lag jande ho.......hun taan oh hindi punjabi te english tino hi boldi hai......buh ghare punjabi hi.......main har wele tokdi rendi haan vee punjabi bol......
koi vee language maadi nayi hai.....bande nu punjabi de naa naal hindi vee auni chahidi hai.....te in case of pakistan yeah urdu vee auni chahidi aa....coz punjabi sadi maa boli hon de naal naal eh languages sadiyaan national languages ne jehdiyaan sanu sadi country de baaki hiseya naal jodiyaan ne.............baaki eh tuhade te depend karda vee tusi more frequently kehdi language use karde ho.......

genieye mere kehan di vi ehi matbal si ki languages ta jinniya aun oniya vadhiya, it connects u to the rest of the world, i can speak hindi, punjbai, english, and easily pull off spanish, french and urdu....is layi nothing against languages.
and yeah i agree abt wat the school plays in a kids life, i have 2 younger brothers who almost grew up here, school ch ta chalo english bolni hundi, o ta ghare aake vi nahi bakhshde....but my point was not that, this is totally agree too. But in punjab there r lots of people who jusy speak hindi besides knowing punjabi perfectly coz they feel ki punjabi pendu hai, tusi manno ja na manno par main ta apniya akha naal dekhya hai eh. bacheya di gall hor hai, school going age kids, but vadde saadi age de infact mummiya di age diya ladies vi, uchal uchal ke hindi bolangiya to show off ki asi bade padhe likhe aa......eh vi hunda hai

yeah jehdi tusi mummiyaan di gall kiti oh vee bilkul sahi hai.....hindi english taan edaan uchal uchal k boldiyaan ne jivein punjabi kade boli hi na hove.....jido main apni niece nu chadan jandi c school te notice kita vee mummiya english to siva gall hi nayi kardiya......maneya bai tusi wadeya ghara to ho.....padiya likhiya ho....koi minister di wife te koi IAS officer di wife....buh still apne culture de nede taan raho......j apni maa boli nu bolan ch hi tuhanu sharam aundi hai te fer laanat hai tuhade ene pade likhe hon te......
