The new Flying Spur is the most powerful four-door Bentley ever, with the 0-100kph sprint coming up in 4.3 seconds.
Bentley has launched the new Flying Spur in India at a price of Rs 3.1 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Power comes from a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine that puts out 616bhp and 81.57kgm of torque, making it the most powerful four-door Bentley ever. The engine comes mated to an eight-speed ZF gearbox and 0-100kph is dispatched in approximately 4.3 seconds.
Dimensions for the Bentley Flying Spur are 5295mm, 1976mm, 1488mm and 3065mm for the length, width, height and wheelbase respectively. It gets 405mm ventilated discs up front and 335mm ventilated discs at the rear.
The air spring rates have been dropped by 10 to 15 percent over the previous Continental Flying Spur, the anti-roll bars softened and the bushes are significantly softer in the new luxury car.
In terms of equipment, the highlight of the cabin is a phone-sized touchscreen controller for the rear passengers that controls functions like the seats, air-con, media, blinds and even the navigation, along with the expected dosage of wood, leather and chrome all over the interiors.[/img][/SIZE][/I]
