Just don't want to brick my phone so not trying anything random.

Yes, It is Galaxy S7 edge G935W8 (Exynos).
I'm not too sure about the process since it's been 4 years out of this stuff.

Unlock first,

backup all data, unlocking may delete everything.

1. Go to Settings and then About Device. Click on Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Options. Go to Developer Options and enable USB debugging and OEM unlock settings.

2. Install twrp with twrp manager (play store)

3. flash magisk or supersu with twrp to root.

My phone is Unlocked.
Developer mode is already enable.
