Mutter Shufta













Ingredients:
250g - green peas
3 cardamom

1/2 cup curd
1/4 tsp - chilli powder
1/4 tsp - cumin
1/4 tsp - coriander powder
1/4 tsp - garam masala powder
250g - mava
1 bunch coriander
3 strands - saffron
Ghee for frying
Salt to taste


Method

  1. Shell green peas.
  2. Heat ghee in a pressure pan, add cumin, chilli powder, mava and curd.
  3. Fry on slow flame for about 10 mins
  4. Add peas, coriander powder and salt; crushed cardamom, saffron and garam masala.
  5. Close lid and cook upto 1 whistle.
  6. Serve garnished with chopped coriander
