Some have feared that Lenovo buying Motorola from Google meant the end to the company's popular low-cost phones, such as Moto X and Moto G. But it appears the Moto X will stay the same at least for a while longer.
During this week's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, Motorola held a Q&A on Twitter letting people ask what's the deal with the company's line of phones. One follower asked, "When is next version of Moto X?" and Motorola coyly responded, "Keep posted - hint - late summer."

The Moto X is Motorola's flagship smartphone that was designed to rival other high-end devices, like the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, and Apple's iPhone 5. The device has a speedy camera, futuristic voice command capabilities, and an endless variety of customizable designs. The no-contract $400 phone is also cheaper than its competitors.

It appears Motorola also has no plans to raise the prices on its smartphones. When asked if the company will sell high-priced phones, Motorola tweeted, "Great smart phones should be available to everyone & days of $600 phones are limited."
The same goes for the Android operating system; when asked if Motorola would consider other operating systems now that it's not owned by Google, the company replied, "We'd have to compromise if we spread across ecosystems. We'll continue to focus on Android."
In the Q&A, Motorola also said that Moto X will launch in India and Australia in the next few weeks, but there are no plans yet for the phone to launch in China.
