Colors channel is going to telecast 'Comedy Nights with Kejri' soon with Delhi CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in lead role. According to the sources, soon after Krushna's show got lukewarm response from the audience, the channel was in search of somebody who could replace Kapil.
Arvind Kejriwal's right hand and darling Manish Sisodia told the reporters that first episode will be telecast on February 21 wherein Mr. Kejriwal will entertain the audience holding Modi guilty for seepage in his bathroom ceiling, while show's promotion on social media will be done by senior party comedian- cum-spokesperson Ashutosh through his Twitter account.
When enquired about choosing Mr. Kejriwal as the replacement of Kapil, Colors CEO Mr. Raj Nayak told that they found so many similarities in both the men that they felt nobody can be a better replacement of Kapil but Mr. Kejriwal.
For instance, Kapil Sharma mocks general public in his show and Mr. Kejriwal also doesn't spare anybody from PM to FM in his game of politics.
Kapil doesn't pay salary to his domestic help. Likewise, Kejriwal is not paying the salaries of MCD employees.
Kapil Sharma has big comedians like Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda at his house. At the same time, Kejriwal also has entertainers like Bhagwant Mann, Jaspreet Ghuggi and Kumar Vishwas in his party.
