Mitsubishi reveals new small car concept

Mitsubishi has released the first image its new ‘Global Small’ car concept which enters production in early 2012 and may be launched in India too.
Mitsubishi desperately needs a global small car to boost sales and ensure its survival and this is what they have thought of. The car is expected to be priced economically and pegged along with Nissan’s Micra, Toyota’s Liva and Honda’s upcoming Brio. The concept will be seen in the metal at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March.
The small Mitsubishi will be powered by an engine sized between 1.0 – 1.2-litre and mated to a manual or CVT automatic transmission. Mitsubishi also plans to equip the car with fuel saving technologies like a stop-start system and regenerative
