Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X model will soon be seen on Indian roads. Mitsubishi has decided to sell the car in Indian market through the dealership network already in place thanks to its alliance with Hindustan Motors. The car will be launched in India in the month of July this year under the moniker Evo 10.

It is expected that presently the company will aim at selling 100 numbers of cars in India. Like most high end cars that have made their way into the country, the Evo X will be imported and sold as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Thanks to this move, prices of the car are expected to start around Rs 30 lakh.

India is likely to get the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X MR variant, which comes with a 2-litre inline-four turbocharged petrol engine. The engine is capable of pumping out 295 PS at 6500 rpm and 366 N·m at 3500 rpm, and the car itself comes with learning from Mitsubishi's world rally endeavours including an ultra-high tech four wheel drive system. Other features included at making this an awesome driver's machine are a 6-speed TC-SST automatic transmission with paddle shifts, a road hugging suspension with Eibach springs and Bilstein struts and 18-inch BBS forged alloy wheels. On the comfort and safety side, the car comes equipped with an auto leveling Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, Mitsubishi Multi Communication System, leather combination seat trim, heated front seats and hot shot Rockford Fosgate audio system.
