Mitsubishi CS design concept
Did you ever think of what would be the best replacement for Mitsubishi Colt? Well, the answer is provided by designer Gábor Farkas. It may led to speculations that Mitsubishi is pursuing the Colt replacement, but nothing is confirmed as of now. The concept from Gabor is dubbed the Mitsubishi CS and is identical in size to Ford Fiesta. The new design language seems to blend the design cues from the Japanese brand’s various recent models like Lancer’s so called shark like nose with aggressive body shape boasting curvalicious details.
The concept which almost looks production ready features swooped roof that ends in a body-colored spoiler and its interior continues the more production, less concept approach, incorporating styling elements from the Outlander Sport. There is two-tone color combination on the seats and the red lighting on dash is reminiscent of Colt CZT.
Moreover, as per the designer, Gábor Farkas, the goal behind designing the Concept CS was to summon the spirit of its ancestors. He was also quoted as saying that design concept revives the Colt CA (92-96) with a touch of the C50 (88-92) model at the front, wrapped in Mitsubishi’s new jet-fighter design language.
