Popular Indian chef Sanjeev Kapoor has been replaced by restaurant owner Zorawar Kalra (son of Jiggs Kalra) as the judge of MasterChef India Season 5. Zorawar will be making his debut with an all-new season of MasterChef India, according to a report in The Times of India.
There have also been other changes on the judging panel of the Indian cooking reality show. Apparently, Kunal Kapur, who had been replaced by Ranveer Brar in the fourth season of the show, will now return for the fifth season of the show.
And all of you can breathe a sigh of relief as Chef Vikas Khanna is not going anywhere.
This is not the first time though that MasterChef India's judging panel has gone through so many changes. It has been happening ever since the first season was launched.
Season 1 had Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, Ajay Chopra and Kunal Kapur as the judges of the show. Season 2 saw Vikas Khanna leading the panel instead of Kumar, and Season 3 marked the entry of everyone's favourite chef, Sanjeev Kapoor, who had replaced Ajay Chopra. And of course, Season 4 saw Kunal Kapur being replaced by Ranveer Brar.
