Mallika Sherawat prays at snake temple for ‘Hisss’ success

Mallika Sherawat who plays a snake woman in her upcoming film Hisss, offered prayers at the famous Sree Nagaraja temple at Mannarasala in Alappuzha district, in Kerala, seeking divine blessings for the success of the project.

The Bollywood actress reached here this morning from Mumbai and drove straight to the temple, which was one of the principal locations of the multi-lingual film, which is to be released on October 22. She was accompanied by producer Govind Menon.

Menon said that 'Hisss' produced under the banner of Split Image Pictures at a cost of Rs 30 crores, would be released worldwide in 2,200 screens on October 22.

Besides Mallika, the film also stars Divya Dutta and Irrfan Khan. It is directed by Jennifer Lynch.

In India, the English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions of the film would be released on that day, while the Malayalam version would be released in Kerala on October 29.
