Low Calorie Stuffed Capsicums Recipe

This low calorie stuffed capsicums made with all-natural broken wheat or brown rice are very easy to make. You can serve it as a breakfast or as an evening snack.

  • Capsicum - 4 no.
  • Dalia (broken wheat) or brown rice - 1/2 cup
  • Shelled green peas - 1/2 cup
  • Tomato juice - 1 cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

  1. Halve the capsicums & remove the seeds.
  2. Wash the broken wheat or brown rice well. Cook the broken wheat (or brown rice) & peas with tomato juice & salt.
  3. Mix in coriander leaves.
  4. Stuff mixture into the capsicum halves.
  5. Steam till capsicums are soft (5-7 minutes).
