La Toya has not sung in public since the 1990s, but she's preparing to fly to Wales to join the Black Eyed Peas and Christina Aguilera at the Michael Forever concert in Cardiff on Saturday.
"There will never be another magical moment such as this to celebrate Michael with his fans," express.co.uk quoted her as saying.
La Toya admits she's looking forward to taking time out from attending Dr Conrad Murray's ongoing involuntary manslaughter trial.
"In speaking with my mother, I asked her where she thinks Michael would rather have us be, in this courtroom filled with negativity and lies, or on a stage celebrating his music, his legacy and his life. She said, ‘Celebrating his life with family and fans.'"
