But unfortunately, the actress has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons. Her ‘friendship’ with cricketer Virat Kohli and her alleged faulty lip job are making more headlines than her acting skill and dance numbers.
Anushka's most recent oops moment was on the chat show Koffee With Karan. No, don’t worry; she didn’t have a wardrobe malfunction or anything. During the quiz round, Karan Johar asked her “Who is the chief minister of Maharastra?” The actress replied hurriedly, "Ashok Chavan," while Anurag Kashyap, who shared the couch with the actress, chose to remain mum. Karan laughed out loud and said, "You just had an Alia moment."
The Koffee Quiz sure is testing the general knowledge of many celebrities. Remember when Alia Bhatt was asked during the quiz who the President of India was and she replied, "Prithviraj Chavan"?
Anushka is yet another celebrity who has made a fool out of herself on the show, displaying her lack of knowledge. We sure hope the actress does her homework the next time.
