Kingston Digital has just announced the release of its 2.5-inch SSD lineup, called the Kingston SSDNow V+100.
Kingston’s SSD division has been extremely active over the past year or so, the company managing to establish itself as one of the top player in this market segment, now they’re back with yet another addition to their SSDNow V+ family of solid-state drives. Kingston SSDNow V+100 SSD are 25 percent more productive than previous models thanks to an improved controller. It is claimed read and write speed of 230 MB/s and 180 MB/s. The Kingston SSDNow V+100 SSD are utilized SATA 3 Gbps, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash memory, and a MTBF of 1 million hours.
The new drive is comes in five models 64GB, 96GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. It is designed for corporations with a viable solution to extend the life of currently installed client systems while meeting user performance expectations.
Kingston SSDNow V+100 solid state drive is implemented “Always On” Garbage Collection technology, which serves to ease users of operating systems without TRIM.
