Kingston Digital today at the CES 2017 introduced DataTraveler Ultimate GT with 2TB of storage, making it the world’s largest capacity flash drive. It measures just 72x 26.9 x 21mm and can accommodate up to 70 hours of 4K UHD-resolution videos, according to Kingston. This is smaller than SSD so it can be carried easily in your pocket. Even though is small, it has a premium build since it has a zinc-alloy metal casing, making it shock resistant when it is dropped. It can also handle drastic temperatures spanning as low as -13F and as high as 140F (operating temperature), or -40F to 185F storage temperature. It has USB 3.0 connector for fast data transfers. The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate GT is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, is backed by a five-year warranty, and is compatible with all the major desktop operating systems, including macOS 10.9 and higher, Windows 7 and higher, Chrome OS, and Linux version 2.6 and higher. Kingston is yet to reveal the pricing and availability of the flash drive.
