JNU Students’ Union president Kanhaiya Kumar was not allowed to attend the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
Kumar said he had come to hear debate on the Vidarbha statehood but was not allowed inside the building. Kanhaiya was in Mumbai to attend an anniversary program of Peasants and Workers Party of India (PWP).
He later left the Vidhan Bhavan to attend an event at Khalapur.
